Historic Quarter
As a Carlisle based practice, we have worked on a huge range of heritage projects throughout the city.
We have strong connections with the mediaeval historic Quarter, both professionally, and personally.
We have worked on projects from the macro to the micro scale, including: Historic fabric recording of mediaeval walls, change of use of 18th century properties from offices to new living accommodation, and master planning a large site in the heart of the historic quarter.
We have lead on the refurbishment and vertical extension of a 1960s office building to deliver a new contemporary global headquarters, and had involvement in various aspects of Project Tullie, which aims to consolidate and reinvigorate Grade I listed Tullie House.
