Experienced Architect

After a successful 2024 we have a very busy 2025 ahead and are looking to grow and build our team; we are looking for an architect / senior technician to deliver a variety of projects. We are looking for an individual to have the opportunity to take ownership of their projects, be Client facing, and deliver projects through all RIBA work stages; from initial contact meetings with Clients, developing briefs and concept proposals, through to construction and contract administration.

We are a multidisciplinary practice with a team delivering architecture, planning consultancy and quantity surveying, specialising in heritage and conservation and projects within rural settings. Lead by directors Georgie Cray (Architect / Conservation Architect), Angus Hutchinson (Planning Consultant) and Roy Williamson (Quantity Surveyor), together with our Practice Manager, technicians and other consultants, we are a small team focused on delivering high quality projects and providing our Clients with the best advice.

We founded our studio in 2017 and have been growing and evolving since then: HG Associates was set up as a new, separate, company in 2021, as part of changes following the global pandemic.  In 2023 the brand and vision for the company began to come together (with a little help from the incredible team at Creative Hutch) and in 2024 we built upon and consolidated the vision; our portfolio has grown and so has our range of projects and wonderfully diverse Client list.
