Diversification: Residential Development
For smaller developments and single dwellings, residential development within farm steadings offers the opportunity to sell or let a property.
For larger developments, particularly if land has been allocated in the Local Plan, planning permission can be obtained to secure a higher value of land.
We have worked on a huge range of residential projects within farm steadings, from single barn conversions to larger new build developments, and from traditional sandstone conversions to striking Dutch Barn conversions.

New Farm Steadings
Relocating from a restricted site within the heart of the village is often necessary to allow farming operations to grow.
We have worked with farmers to consolidate farm steadings and relocate to larger sites with room to grow and improved access. The new steadings can comprise new agricultural buildings and agricultural worker's dwellings, together with infrastructure, including renewable energy options.
